The Physical-Motion and E(energy/mind)-Motion of Process: DAY 475

I the other day, explained the following example to an individual that will give perspective of ‘process’ and also give perspective of why/how it is that one ‘sometimes feel stable’ and at other times overwhelmed when it comes to the Mind:

Imagine a HUGE round see-through ball that is rolling down a path, with this path winding and sometimes going up and other times going down with lots of obstacles, such as rocks / fallen trees / holes. Now Imagine in that huge round see-through ball there are LOTS of smaller balls floating in a stable position. These balls you can make all sorts of different colours. Then on the smaller balls, Imagine that you see small doors as though the doors on the small balls can be opened and you go inside of them. Now Imagine that you see all the doors on the small balls facing forward towards the path the huge ball is standing on.
So, the small balls with the doors represent points in the Mind that one has to face, with the huge ball representing your physical body and the path with all the obstacles representing the process we walk in our lifetime with facing ourselves as the mind and also the manifested-consequence we have already created in our lives through the mind. Obviously here to consider that such a “path of our lives” is but an experience – physically, we’re always in this reality physically stable. We create the “experience” of ups and downs and winding roads through the MIND.

Now Imagine that you start seeing the huge ball roll along the path and as the huge ball moves in a forward-motion, at the same time, all the smaller balls moves in a forward-motion; but: all the smaller balls are moving forward in different speeds.
Let’s say, the huge ball rolls into a hole and at the same time as the huge ball rolls into a hole – that very moment, one of the smaller-ball’s doors had rolled in such a way where the door was facing forward towards the path, but is now facing inward. The moment the door on the ball faces inwards – it opens up to reveal, for example, thoughts / emotions / behaviour patterns. What this illustrates is the following: As one is walking one’s process – day-to-day, this is the path one walks. Then, as one walk the day – a moment happens with a person, a conflict for example; which would represent the hole in the path. As the moment of conflict opens up, as the ball rolled into the hole: specific thoughts/reactions/behaviour patterns will come to the fore that “activates” – showing things about self, in the Mind, that has to be faced. This being the same as the moment one of the small ball’s doors opened up the exact moment the ball rolled into the hole.

Now, one of two things can happen in such moments: the moment the point within self opens up as one is confronted with a challenge within one’s world / reality (as when the door of the small ball opens the moment the larger ball rolls into the hole) – one will either face oneself and change OR the point will return in the Mind/Self to be faced at a later stage. However, there is a consequence to the point returning to the Mind/Self to be faced at a later stage: if one ‘miss a point’ – an additional ‘layer’ is added to the point in the Mind and everything that it consists of. An additional layer, meaning: the thoughts / backchats and energy reactions of the Mind pattern will become ever so slightly emphasized so that the next time one face the point again – the experience of the point will be even more difficult in the Mind.
If we look at it from the example of the balls: as the small ball’s door opens up the moment the larger ball rolls into the hole and one do not face the mind-pattern that the smaller ball represents – the door will close and the small ball will increase in size. If one did face the mind pattern (or content of the small ball) – every time one apply oneself to change, when a mind pattern emerge (or a small ball’s door opens up): the small ball will decrease in size as the mind pattern becomes less and less intense / overwhelming. With remaining constant and consistent with one’s practical application and change with facing mind patterns in real-time – the mind pattern will slowly but surely disappear as you are no longer feeding / validating the mind pattern, but standing by and committing to your self change.

We’ll continue more in the next post with how to practically assist and support oneself when missing point in one’s real-time application. Also, how – even though, when missing points, the points to become more intense / overwhelming: it is in fact a ‘gift in disguise’.

Fear of Commitment: DAY 439

Solution

Continuing with the question we left off with in the previous post: “Why are we making such a simple Decision from Want to WILL to actual self/world change so difficult for ourselves?” – we’re going to have a look at, essentially, why/how it is that we make Change/Self Change and/or life/living changes so difficult for ourselves. When, all it takes to change, to will oneself, as move oneself into physical change/application – is a Decision and to stand by that Decision/with that Decision until it becomes a ‘natural living expression / way of life’ for self.

A point opened up within the Relationship Series walked in EQAFE regarding ‘Commitment’ – a Decision and the living of/as such a Decision to change, to change oneself and one’s life/living: is a Commitment. It’s a commitment you make to yourself and for yourself. But, WHY – despite seeing how a self change/life change will benefit one internally and externally…do we still sabotage / compromise ourselves, where the More we “TRY” and change/commit/make a decision – the more we sabotage / compromise it?
Many walking the Desteni Process are confronted with this point daily when it comes to writing / walking DIP / making decisions - where the benefit of the processes can be seen/felt/lived, but YET – when it comes to commitment, to following through: we fall. The closer and closer we get to or even get to the moment of seeing/sensing how a Change/Commitment/Decision will fulfil us, we find some way or another to destroy it, to fall back into the Mind/old destructive habits/patterns that we KNOW will lead us down a certain path/consequence…yet, we still do it.

What is scary is that we can spend months, years…if not a lifetime, facing one point of self/life change – and spend those months/years and even a lifetime justifying/excusing/sabotaging and compromising ourselves from making/living the Decision to change and actually live/apply it. The Mind can create this vacuum inside us, where it seems like “time does not matter / time does not exist” – before we know it, months had gone past…even years, and often a lifetime and we every so now and then wandered off into our minds, considered the change of self/life/living, for a moment indulging in guilt/regret/remorse about it; but then simply continuing with our ‘old ways / habits’. In this, using/abusing the prospect of change to justify/excuse/sabotage/compromise ourselves as to why it is we’re not taking that step, making that decision, committing ourselves/our living to in fact change/apply change/walk change.
The question is: how can we sit with a point of change – a prospect of change/process of change within us, for months, for years…yet, do nothing about it, but just continue as we’ve always been? Does this mean that we do not in fact want to change? Because, I mean – if one REALLY, self honestly want to change, man – you’d put everything of yourself into it. If you REALLY, self honestly, want a better way of life/living – man, you’d put everything of yourself/your life into it. Now, many in their minds may go: “But, but, but – it’s so DIFFICULT, it’s IMPOSSIBLE, I have TRIED, there’s TOO MUCH, there’s SO MUCH GOING ON, it’s not only THAT…” – and I can continue with what we can come up in the Mind, doing everything/saying anything possible to just not take that one step, make that one decision and commit to it.

So, what is it – or who is it – that is in fact holding back, that is in fact waiting/postponing? What is it within/of ourselves that seems so powerful, overwhelming that it takes precedence over/of that which we KNOW would be best for ourselves, would best for all, would contribute to a better future, a better human? To what extent does our programming / brainwashing go that we cannot equate a simple commonsense solution, an action of change and implement it immediately?

We’ll continue more in the next post

I will not let ‘my Want’ take over ‘my Will’: DAY 437

Problem:

One often hear oneself, in the Mind, say: “I don’t WANT to” / “I don’t WANT to do it now” / “I don’t FEEL like it (also translated into ‘I don’t want to’). Have we ever considered the extent of self-interest within such a statement? Self-Interest meaning: within such a statement of “I don’t want to / I don’t feel like it / I don’t feel like it now/right now / I’m not going to do it now” – the only relationship that exist within such a statement is between the “I and the WANT”. Where this “I and WANT” ONLY exists in one’s own Mind, and the question within this is: where is reality? Where is one’s relationship to reality/the physical and responsibility within it…it is nowhere to be found.

Now, what is interesting is that most of the things that come up in our Minds have a direct-relationship to the “I”, where we exist through the Mind’s I and not the ‘physical eyes’, where we exist within Illusion instead of reality – where we will thus in such a moment only see the “I’s WANT” – instead of through the physical eyes, in terms of ‘who/what’s involved, what’s the responsibility in reality, what’s the consequence if I do not stand/direct/change/take responsibility in this moment, what would be best for all and my relationship to all/everything involved with taking this action/doing this thing/giving direction?’ None of that is taken into consideration in a moment, only the I of the Mind and its WANT, the MY WANT is taken into consideration. PLUS one get an added FEELING to it (Man!!! What a Prize!!!) when/as one go into that self-interested relationship of “I and WANT” instead of Here and Responsibility. Meaning, when you have a look for yourself, in memories of moments where you went into that “I don’t WANT to” – you will find that within that, you also get an energy experience, an emotional experience that you can feel in the physical AS YOU SPEAK THE WORDS. Look back at the memories, the moments – you will find that as you, in your mind or out loud spoke the words “I don’t want to” – along with it, came an emotional experience/energy experience from the mind in the body. This showing how the words we speak in the mind produce energy, as the energy is in relationship to the words we speak in the mind/out loud. This relationship between Words and the Mind/Energy and the difference of/as the Living Word expressed/lived through and as the Physical Body – we will discuss in more in detail in posts to come; how we have come energy-producing machines for Consciousness, instead of cultivating Life in the Physical/Real World.

Fascinating that we’d lean towards our own I / our own Want and creating an energy/emotion for ourselves – rather than, actually ‘creating/directing/moving ourselves in the REAL WORLD where there will be real impact/movement’. Instead, we ‘move’ in/as energy in the Mind as we speak the words “I don’t WANT to” – completely disconnecting/separating ourselves from reality, from REAL responsibility.
One can have a look at the simple, practical things where we do this to ourselves – in terms of simple/basic responsibilities such as house cleaning/studying/doing something for someone when asked/lending a helping hand/gardening/writing/reading etc. This one have to do for oneself – identify when/where one do this to yourself and your relationship to reality…additionally, how OFTEN one in fact do this to oneself in the Mind with the words/statement/context of “I don’t WANT to”.
But, what inevitably happens is: consequence in REALITY accumulates / time passes and that which needs to be done – is still here to be done. So, now what we’ve done with the “I don’t WANT to” statement in the Mind/out loud is get our energy-fix as well as accumulate consequence in reality / the physical where eventually MORE will have to be done than what it would have been if one simply physically willed/moved oneself when/as responsibility in reality came knocking/showing that it needs attention/direction. Consequence within, meets consequence without – for us to have that Energy Fix in the Mind, consequence externally continued escalating. Now Imagine, all of humanity in a similar/same possession – everyone wanting their mental energy-fixes FIRST before taking responsibility in reality/giving direction in/as their real world/lives and the earth as a whole. In this process, we’re all placing our own I’s / Mind’s and the ENERGY we experience BEFORE the Physical, BEFORE Life, BEFORE Responsibility in/as this real physical existence. Placing ILLUSION before REALITY.

The question is: what is the difference between the ‘I Want’ in the Mind and ‘Self Will’ in the Physical? What are the consequences of living in a Mind of Want, rather than a Self-Willed directive principle in the physical/real world? These questions we will explore in the next post.
